Not only does the Employee Handbook require employees to notify their supervisor or the Chief of Schools, but GCCS employment contracts also include a clause that states:

“Employee shall be obligated to immediately inform the Chief of GCCS of any arrests, charges, pleas, convictions, sentences, or any suspended imposition of sentence, regardless of where the incident occurs, prior to or during the term of this agreement. Minor traffic offenses are not subject to this reporting requirement.”

A minor traffic offense may not require reporting—but once there’s a warrant, it’s no longer just a minor traffic offense. 🤷🏻‍♂️
